Homeland Security and Emergency Response
CX2 partners with GEOCommand, Inc. to offer state-of-the-art homeland security and emergency response software solutions. The GEOCommand software can operate as a stand-alone solution, with legacy radio and wireless systems, and with any narrowband or broadband spectrum. GEOCommand's Dynamic Server™ provides interoperable data communications using CX2 DATALynx radios.
FCC Licenses for Public Safety Entities
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) holds two nationwide 220 MHz licenses for public safety and the federal government. Qualified organizations can apply for licenses in their area for little or no cost. Because CX2’s narrowband 5 kHz wireless data technology makes optimal use of these narrowband channels, the operating costs of a CX2 network are a fraction of the costs required to operate competitors’ two-way communication offerings.
